Ingush leader says preventive measures are more effective than violence in fighting terror

The acting head of the Ingush Republic, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, says that preventive measures are more effective than violence in the sphere of the struggle against terrorism.

The remarks came from a meeting of the board of the republic's Prosecutor's Office attended by Yevkurov.

The situation surrounding the republic's economy was also discussed at the meeting.
