Iranian petroleum income rises to $600 billion

Oil income of Iran totaled $27 billion from the start of oil sales to 1973. $85 billion more were earned in 1973-1978, $35 billion in 1979-1981, $110 billion in 1981-1989, $141 in 1988-1997 (during the rule of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani), $157 billion in 1997-2005 (during the rule of Mohammad Khatami).
Ahmadinejad’s administration spent over $540 billion in 8 years to import products and services.
