Railway to be built from Khorramshahr to Basra

Director of Iranian railways Abdul Ali Sahib Mohammadi said that a railway will be built between Khorramshahr (Iran) and Basra (Iraq) in three years, allowing pilgrims to visit Najaf and Kerbel, Trend reports.

Iraq has not started the railway construction due to financial shortages and hopes to start construction next year.
