Doctors in Stavropol Territory end strike

Victor Majarov, Healthcare Minister of the Stavropol Territory, Ivan Kovalyov, Vice Governor and Deputy Prime Minister of the region, and Ivan Ulyanchenko, Deputy Mayor of Stavropol, convinced six doctors of the children’s hospital named after Philippsky to stop their hunger strike yesterday.

The doctors were protesting to express support for chief doctor Vyacheslav Kashnikov dismissed over the scandal around the Unified State Exam and demanded acting chief doctor Oksana Feodosiadi to given her job back.
