Baku to host talks on environmental protection in petroleum industry

Baku will host an international conference to discuss protection of environment in petroleum industry on November 4-5 dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijani National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Trend reports.

The talks will be organized with support of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), supported by IDEA, Iteca Caspian LLC. Over 200 officials will arrive for the conference.

Participants of the international conference will discuss ecology, development of petroleum industry, polluting gases, impact of pollution on water bodies, restoration of soil and oil-polluted territories, innovations in waste management, alternate energy sources and energy efficiency.
