Gas cut off in boiler rooms in Vladikavkaz and Makhachkala because of debts

Boiler rooms of "Vladikavkaz Heating System" have been disconnected from the gas supply by "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk" because of a debt of 1.385 billion rubles, the press service of the gas company said.

The debt for gas of "Vladikavkaz Thermal Networks" in mid-July of this year has exceeded 111 million rubles. The company is the successor to "Vladikavkazteploservis", which previously rented its boilers, and the total debt of both companies is 1.385 billion rubles, Interfax reports.

On July 15 "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk" cut off the gas supply to 35 of 105 boiler rooms which "Vladikavkaz Heating Systems" owns. Earlier, with the completion of the heating season, gas supply to 52 boilers was stopped. On July 24, 29 boilers were completely cut off, the work on the remaining six boilers is continuing.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Stavropol Territory stated that the termination of gas supply by "Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk" to "Dagestanenergo" because of debts is considered a violation of the rights of more than 50 thousand people, the press service of the Prosecutor's office said.
