Chechen leader to cut unemployment to 5%

Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that unemployment in the republic had dropped from 74% in 2006 to 23% today. He plans to further reduce unemployment to 5% in 5 years, chechnyatoday.com reports.

Development of industry and tourism will offer new jobs. The republic is training skilled specialists. The federal purpose program for socio-economic development of Chechnya for 2008-2012 was an efficient instrument for solution of socio-economic problems.
