Pro-presidential chairman deposed in Tbilisi city legislature

The chairman of the Tbilisi city legislature, member of the pro-president United National Movement party Zala Samadashvili, was deposed today by a majority of votes of the city's lawmakers.

Zurab Samushiya, a member of the Christian Democratic Movement, was elected as acting chairman of the body.
