Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaOn July 26, in honor of the Day of the Constitution of the Republic of Dagestan and on the initiative of the Permanent Mission of Dagestan under the President of Russia a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument of the great national poet of Dagestan and Russia Rasul Gamzatov was held In Moscow, on Yauza Boulevard. The Constitution of the Republic was adopted in 1994, and it cemented the status of Dagestan as an
integral and indivisible part of the Russian Federation. First Deputy Permanent Representative of Dagestan at the Russian President, Wali Mohammed Magataev congratulated the people of Dagestan and stressed the importance of this event for the politics of the country.
The event was also attended by the nephew of Rasul Gamzatov, Gamzat Gamzatov.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Permanent Mission, members of the Public Council at the Permanent MIssion, activists of the cultural center "Dagestan", undergraduate and graduate students of Moscow universities, as well as cadets of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense.
