Funds at Ministry of Internal Affairs in Makhachkala misused

Public funds have been spent improperly at the Interior Ministry in Makhachkala.

"The investigatory authorities of the Republic of Dagestan have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 285.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (diversion of budgetary funds on a large scale)," an official statement is quoted by ITAR-TASS.

The estimated budget of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan for 2012 amounted to more than 28 million rubles. 

The circumstances of the misuse are being investigated.
