Russian and Tajik presidents to meet

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, his advisor for foreign affairs Erkin Rahmatulloyev, Defense Minister Sherali Hayrulloyev, Minister for Economic Development and Trade Sharif Rahimzoda, Minister for Energy and Industry Gul Sherali, Deputy Foreign Minister Makhmujon Sobirov, Chief of Migration Service Safiallo Devonayev will visit Moscow on August 1, Avesta.tj reports.

Rahmon will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and discuss no-customs petroleum shipments from Russia to Tajikistan, Tajik workers in Russia, modernization of the Armed Forces. They may also consider the upcoming Tajik presidential polls of November 2013 and ratification of the agreement on Russian military base 201.
