Turkmen president discusses tourism development

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended a special council for tourism and discussed the role of the Avaz tourism zone where facilities developed are worth $2 billion, Trend reports.

Development of the zone will continue until 2020. Several hotels and recreation centers will be completed this year. Berdimuhamedov said that construction of four 5-star hotels with 300-350 rooms each, an aqua park and an amusement park, a multi-storey parking lot and houses started this year.
