Georgian defense minister calls for enhanced cooperation in defense industry

Georgian Minister of Defense Irakly Alasaniya says Georgia should enhance ties with Azerbaijan and Turkey in the sphere of defense industry. The minister believes the three states should establish some kind of a body in order to encourage such cooperation.

According to the Georgian official this is necessary to improve the security of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline.
