Syrian presidents says war may end in few months

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that the war may end in the country with the help of the population. He noted that areas with the best support from the residents achieved the greatest success, RIA Novosti reports.

Assad emphasized that the military had made great progress, while terrorist groups and their foreign sponsors had started an exhaustive war. The president said that more and more militants were giving up.
