Vilayat Dagestan member gets 16 years of prison for terrorism

Ruslan Ismailov of the Vilayat Dagestan community got 16 years of prison for a terrorist attack at a traffic police station in May 2012, ITAR-TASS reports.

He was a member of the community in October 2010 – June 2012. The terrorist purchased vehicles and set bombs to explode at the Alaska-30 police station on May 3, 2012. 14 people died and over 80 were injured. The blast caused damage worth 24 million rubles.

Ismailov attacked a police officer in Makhachkala on June 22, 2012. Besides imprisonement, the man was fined with 100,000 rubles.
