Russian tourists poisoned in Turkey, 15 people hospitalized

"According to the Russian Consulate General in Antalya, on August 3, 2013, 69 Russians vacationing at the Grand Ring Hotel in the village of Beldibi sought medical treatment. Everyone was diagnosed with "acute gastroenteritis" and received the necessary medical care. 15 people were admitted to hospitals in Kemer and Antalya," RIA Novosti quotes the official statement.
Later, most of those hospitalized were discharged.
"According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the situation is under control. On August 3, inspectors of the Antalya Province Health Department took samples of food and water from the pool and the sea for a sanitary-epidemiological examination, the results of which will be announced on August 6."
