7 million square meters of forest burn down in Turkey

7 million square meters of forest have burned down in the Hatay Province of Turkey in the last 3 days. Fire trucks, four helicopters and three planes are trying to put it out.

Fires in Turkey have been a problem since late July. Forests have suffered from fire in the provinces of Mugla and Balikesir.
