Italy, Greece, Bulgaria to sign gas deals with Azerbaijan in September

Italy, Greece and Bulgaria will sign deals on purchases of Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz gas in September 2013.

Gas will be transferred through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline. $1.9 billion will be spent on the second stage of Shah Deniz development. The final investment decision will be made in Q4 2013. First Shah Deniz-2 gas will be extracted in 2018.
