Victims of terrorist attack commemorated in Moscow

March 1, in Moscow and St. Petersburg started  civic actions in remembrance of  Victims of terrorist attack  in the Moscow Metro. According to RIA Novosti, over 3 thousand people  gathered at the Solovetsky stone at Lubyanka, in the centre of Moscow.


The youth movement “Nashi”(The Ours) and other public associations urged people to  come to Lubyanka by 8 pm and light candles  in remembrance of  the deceased and participate in a silence minute in memory of them. At the same time in St. Petersburg  people commemorated  the victims in front of The Prince Vladimir Church. There was also held a service for the dead.

The dead will be buried in Moscow April 1. The deceased, who had lived in Chekhov and Kaluga were buried March 31.

In Moscow and St. Petersburg were also commemorated 12 victims of the terrorist attack in Kizlyar.
