Criminals to be pardoned in Iran for Eid ul-Fitr

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei signed an amnesty order as a response to request of Iranian Chief Judge Sadig Amoli Larijani, Trend reports.

The amnesty concerns all people who were sentenced for life and spent at least 15 years in prison, people sentenced for a year, females with kids and untreatable infection, under-aged, men aged over 65, women aged over 50, tax evaders sentenced for 6 months.

Sentences of people who need to spent 1-5 years were halved.

Iran has annual amnesty for Eid ul-Fitr.
