Inflation in Russia: will the price of food increase?

Lyudmila Presnyakova, director of the "Economics" project of the Public Opinion Foundation, spoke about the influence of the inflation on the level of prices of food, goods and services. According to the expert, the Russians are a little less worried about inflation, compared to previous years. However, different segments of the population have different perceptions of price increases.

Inflation is not as high as 5-6 years ago, and people feel this, but they are sensitive to how the prices change and feel that momentum. Vulnerable people are especially sensitive to even a slight increase in prices of food and goods. Each individual situation has a great influence. In addition to the high attention to rising food prices, people are concerned about the rising cost of utility bills and the price of gasoline.
