Explosion hits Istanbul office of AKP party

An explosion hit the Istanbul office of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) last night. The incident occured around 2 a.m. No one was hurt as a result of the explosion. Panes of the building were shattered.

The police have started an investigation into the case, the Sabah newspaper reports.
