717kg of heroin found on Turkish-Bulgarian border

The police found 717kg of heroin in a Bosnian car driven by a Croatian at the Hamzabeyli Checkpoint on the Turkish-Bulgarian border, RIA Novosti reports.

393kg of heroin was found in a truck carrying wheat at the Kapikul Checkpoint. The narcotics are worth a total of about $33 million. The police detained two drivers and three other suspects.
