First national submarine launched in Iran

The Fateh submarine, the first sub built by Iranian specialists, has been floated out. Rear Admiral Golyam Reza Qadem-Bigam said that it will start service in the near future, ITAR-TASS reports.

The submarine has a water disposal of 600 tons and may dive 200m deep for about 5 weeks.
