Kabardino-Balkarian member of Federation Council of Russia dies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAlbert Kajarov, a member of the Federation Council of Russia from Kabardino-Balkaria, has died on the 418th km of the Kavkaz Federal highway near Kuba-Taba at about 5.17 am today, RIA Novosti cites Kabardino-Balkarian Traffic Police Chief Yuri Begidov.
His car crashed into a vehicle on the oncoming lane. Both Kajarov and his driver died. The driver and the passenger of the other vehicle
Kajarov was born in Tyrnyauz in 1965. He joined the Moscow Board of Lawyers in 1994. He lost the presidential polls of Kabardino-Balkaria in 2002. He was heading the Kabardino-Balkarian Presidential Administration in November 2006 – March 2009. He became a Kabardino-Balkarian MP in March 2009 and senator in May 2009. He was a member of the Committee for Financial Market and Currency Circulation and the Commission for Information Policy of the Federation Council. He was deputy head of the Commission for Regulation and Organization of Parliamentary Work.
