Georgian defense minister visits US military base in Germany

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania has visited the Hohenfeld US military base in Germany, where Georgian soldiers are being trained.

The official noted the training is very useful for Georgian military personnel awaiting departure to Afghanistan, where the Georgian contingent takes part in the international peacekeeping operation.
