Georgia to return to Iran 10 trucks of low-quality bitumen

10 vehicles have been imported with more than 230 tons of bitumen oil worth nearly $122 thousand from Iran to Georgia through the customs post "Vale"

Officers of the National Examination Bureau took samples. According to the report, the bitumen does not meet the standards set forth in the certificate presented by the Iranian side. Accordingly, the goods will be returned to the exporting country.

According to revenue services, in accordance with the laws of Georgia, the use of commodity transactions with imported bitumen is possible only after the confirmation  of quality through laboratory testing.
