Ex-head of maternity center to be punished for trading children

The 66-year-old ex-head of the maternity center N1 of Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia) will be punished for trading children, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to the police, a 19-year-old left her child at the maternity center in November 2008. The ex-head of the maternity center forged the child’s documents and handed it to a couple without any adoption procedures. The same was done with a child of a resident of Stavropol in August 2008.

Another head of a maternity center was caught earlier. She was charging 500,000 for a child.
