Penza resident injured while hiking in Kabardino-Balkaria

A Penza resident was injured while climbing Mt. Bashkha-auz (4,470m) in the Bezengiysky Gorge of Kabardino-Balkaria, ITAR-TASS reports.

A Mi-8 helicopter with rescuers was dispatched from the Mineralniye Vody Airport at 11.00 am to save the man. It will take rescuers of the Elbrus Highland Search and Rescue Group from the Bezengi Camp to a height of 3,200m.

A group of 25 climbers was registered at the Bezengi camp.
