High death rate in Georgia is caused by pollution

Pollution of the environment is the reason for the high death rate in Georgia, the Green Alternative non-governmental organization reports on its official website.

According to the data provided by the organization, 17 percent of diseases and 19 percent of deaths are caused by pollution. The research was conducted in the five biggest cities of the country.

The percentage of harmful gases in the air is more than twice the norm.
