Russian government visits Pyatigorsk

Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Prime Minister, Alexander Khloponin, Vice Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the NCFD, Anton Siluanov, Minister for Finances, Igor Slyunyayev, Minister for Regional Development, Dmitry Livanov, Minister for Education and Science, Vladimir Medinsky, Minister for Culture, Vitaly Mutko, Minister for Sports, Alexander Novak, Minister for Energy, Veronika Skvortsova, Minister for Healthcare, Maksim Sokolov, Minister for Transportation, Maksim Topilin, Minister for Labour and Social Development, Nikolai Fedorov, Minister for Agriculture, and other officials have arrived in Pyatigorsk to discuss socio-economic development of the North Caucasus and visit the Mashuk-2013 Forum.

They will discuss realization of the development program for the region until 2025, fulfillment of the president’s orders of May 7, 2012, and formation of a working group for development of agriculture.

Mashuk is an annual forum to find and train the most talented young people interested in politics, economy, innovations, social campaigns, civil initiatives, art in the North Caucasus. The forum will is held on August 15-29.
