Israeli representative to attend UN Commission on Gaza Freedom Flotilla

Israel has sent its official representative to the UN Commission investigating the Gaza Freedom Flotilla incident. The vessels of the Freedom Flotilla heading to Gaza were detained by Israeli forces in May 2010, RIA Novosti cites the UN communiqué .

Josef  Ciechanover will represent Israel at the Special Commission established by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
