Dmitry Medvedev: We see relationship between Russia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia as absolutely equal

Today, the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited the North Caucasian Youth Forum "Mashuk-2013".

During a meeting with its participants, the prime minister said that Russia intends to establish equal relations with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

"We see the relationship between Russia and Abkhazia, Russia and South Ossetia as absolutely equal, the relationship that is associated with mutual respect and affection of our nations, but also the relationship that allows the two small states to develop freely without falling into dependency from anybody, and especially I mean the protection from potential conflict and even extermination," RIA Novosti quoted the Prime Minister.

Dmitry Medvedev said that the relationship will continue on all fronts: economic, socio-political and security.
