Anton Siluanov criticizes republics of North Caucasus for spendings on officials

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov has criticized the republics of the North Caucasus for the high levels of public spending on officials and their car fleet.

Speaking at a meeting of the government commission on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District, he underlined that Chechnya as the most wasteful in terms of spending on the car fleet for officials.

Siluanov also stressed that if the average number of civil servants per one thousand population in Russia is 1.8, in the North Caucasus the figure is 2.1, and in Ingushetia 4.6.
