Anthrax eradicated in Stavropol Territory

Three disinfections of anthrax at Solnechnodolsk have resulted in eradication of the disease source in the Stavropol Territory, Interfax reports.

Two residents diagnosed with the disease were discharged from hospital. No other cases of infection in people or animals have been registered.

Oleg Degtyaryov, spokesman of the Main Directorate of the Ministry for Emergencies, noted that the state of emergency in the village with the outbreak imposed since August was still in force.
