According to political analyst Iosif Tsiskarishvili, the position of the ruling Georgian Dream coalition is far from stable. The expert believes that the coming presidential elections will show how powerful the coalition really is.

"Dreaming is a part of the Georgian national character, but some dreams simply don't come true. (..) Many voters are not satisfied with Georgian Dream's rule. They have many reasons for that," he says.

According to Tsiskarishvili, many experts believed earlier that Georgian Dream's nominee would be the most influential presidential candidate, likely to win the elections. However, now the situation is quite different.

There is a good chance that the presidential elections will go to a second round, Tsiskarishvil believes. That will be a distinctive feature of the developing Georgian democracy, he says.
