Georgia’s Burjanadze demands national forces to leave Afghanistan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaNino Burjanadze demanded 1,500 Georgian soldiers to leave Afghanistan in her electoral speech in the Kakheti Region, Trend reports.
She reminded that 20 Georgians had died in the Afghan peace mission. Burjanadze noted that Baltic states sent 4, 10, 15 people. The politician added that Georgians soldiers were receiving only $1000 for their services while troops of other states got ten times as much. She demanded the NATO to pay everyone involved in the mission equally.
