Russian MP Mutsoyev sells Polyus Gold shares
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian MP Zelimkhan Mutsoyev sold 18.5% of shares of Polyus Gold International Ltd to his brother Amirkhan Mori for 1.17 billion pounds on August 16, Vedomosti.ry reports.
Mori is a partner of Zelimkhan Mutsoyev’s sons Alikhan and Amiran in the Regiony Group, owner of trade centers in Siberia and Mytishchi (Moscow Region).
Mutsoyev used to be 68th in the Forbes list in early 2013, owning $1.5 billion of assets. He sold 6.4% of shares of Uralkali for 40 billion rubles.
Polyus Gold is an international company mining gold in Russia. It is headquartered in London and makes sales at the London Exchange. Suleiman Kerimov, a member of the Federation Council, owns 40.2% of shares in the company. 19.28% belong to Gavriil Yushvayev, co-owner of Vimm-Bill-Dann.
Polyus Gold increased gold production by 12% to 1.68 million ounces in 2012, compared with 2011. The company increased income by 22% to $2.8 billion.
