Elbrus peak becomes concert stage

The regional Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, the Terskol Mountain Training Center and the Airborne Union of Russia organized a bard concert on Elbrus within the framework of the Muzyka Vershin project, Interfax cites Mikhail Kalinkin.

20 singers from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsk attempted to climb to the western peak of Mt. Elbrus. Half of them made it to the peak and held a concert at a height of 5642m for 45 minutes.
