Climber from Germany dies while climbing Mount Elbrus

A German climber died on Monday in the alpine hotel "Shelter of Eleven" in Kabardino-Balkaria, while climbing the highest peak in Europe, Mount Elbrus, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

"A team of four rescuers was sent for him at 14:53 MSK. The causes of death are still unknown," ITAR-TASS quotes the operative on duty of the Elbrus search and rescue team.
