Activists protest near French Embassy in Moscow against possible Syria strike

Activists of the pro-Kremlin youth movement Rossia Molodaya gathered today in front of the French Embassy in Moscow in order to show their protest against a possible strike on Syria.

The protesters carried Syrian flags and religious symbols. The action started at 1 p.m. and proceeded without any incidents.

The organizer of the event, the leader of the movement, Anton Demidov, says it was he suggested the idea of a demonstration. He decided to respond to France's statement that Bashar al-Assad is responsible for the recent chemical attack made before the official UN resolution.
