Russian and Iranian presidents discuss Syrian chemical weapons

Russian and Iranian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Hassan Rouhani had a telephone conversation yesterday and discussed the Syrian crisis, RIA Novosti reports.

Both presidents have a common opinion that launching chemical weapons was inexcusable for any side of the conflict. They agreed that the international society should find a peaceful solution to the problem.

Putin and Rouhani talked about bilateral cooperation and the schedule of further contacts.
