Mexican president postpones visit to Turkey over situation in Syria

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has postponed the visit to Turkey set for September 2-3, RIA Novosti reports.

The Mexican Presidential Administration gave no clear reasons why it was cancelled, but did not rule out the situation in Syria as the motive.

Nieto’s postponed visit will not affect attendance of other talks, such as the G20 summit hosted by Saint Petersburg on September 4-7.
