Armenia expects grant of over billion euro from EU

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan ordered Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to prepare feasibility to receive over 1 billion euro from the EU, News.am reports.

Armenia needs the sum for realization of the North-South Road construction, watering system, environmental protection, industrial development, education reforms, implementation of a new system for social support.

Armenia plans to get about 532 million euro for irrigation in 2013-2025. The EU is likely to grant the sum in the light of the upcoming signing of the association agreement.
