Unique elevator to be built in North Ossetia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe head of North Ossetia, Taymuraz Mamsurov, has visited the construction site of a unique grain elevator being built in the Alagir region of the republic, the press service of Mamsurov reported on Thursday.
A new complex for the recycling, storage and draining of grain will provide the region with new jobs for 150 people. Later there will be a cattle farm for 5 thousand heads of livestock, a factory of bakery products, a confectionery shop and a milk factory, Interfax-South reports.
The administration of the facility state that the elevator will have the capacity to process 300-400 thousand tons.
“The quality analysis of grain will take 2-3 seconds, while today it takes 40 minutes in labs. There is no similar absolutely atomized lab in Russia, and French technologies will be used in North Ossetia for the first time,” the press service reports.
