The Prime Minister of the UK David Cameron stated that London wouldn’t start a military operation against Syria until the topic is discussed in the Security Council of the UN. Cameron emphasized that participation of the UK in an attack against Syria was “impossible” if the majority of the UN SC voted against the decision.

Moreover, he is sure that the peacemaking conference on Syria Geneva-2 should take place. “I called President Obama and later Putin – our positions are very different, but we agree on two points: it is necessary that the Geneva process is launched and any actions should be aimed at advancing the political process,” RIA Novosti cites him.
