Tajikistan to elect president on November 6

30 senators and 63 deputies of the Tajik parliament voted to set November 6 as the day for presidential polls, coinciding with the Constitution Day.

A candidate for president of Tajikistan needs to have at least 10 years of residence in the country, language skills, age of at least 35. At 5% of votes are needed to register at the CEC.
