The Dagestani police have denied information about 300 people injured in a stampede at the Prophet Mohammad exhibition of Makhachkala on Thursday, ITAR-TASS reports.

People needed medical aid because of the heat they were exposed to for a long time while waiting to see the exhibits.

Relics of Mohammad arrived in Makhachkala from Abu Dhabi on August 25. Dagestani Vice Prime Minister Abusupyan Kharkharov said after meeting Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khazraji that the exhibition will last 5 days.
