The deputy minister of agriculture of Armenia, Salmen Galstyan, claims that the republic will have enough grain, despite the crisis, but the price will be affected. According Galstyan, the decision of Russia to stop exporting grain will create barriers for countries importing from the Russian federation, RIA Novosti-Armenia reports.
Armenia consumes 650-720 thousand tons of grain annually; 380-420 thousand tons are imported, mainly from Russia. The ministry concludes that the country has enough supplies to last it until the next harvest.
