Azerbaijan's Igbal Agazade registered as presidential candidate

The Central Electoral Commission of Azerbaijan on Tuesday registered lawmaker and leader of the Umid party, Igbal Agazade, as a presidential candidate. He is now the second officially-registered candidate after incumbent President Ilham Aliyev.

The presidential elections are scheduled to be held on October 9th.
